National Deep Dish Pizza Day in Chicago

Today is a special day for pizza enthusiasts in Chicago! April 5th is National Deep Dish Day, and the city's renowned pizzerias are going the extra mile to celebrate this iconic dish. We recommend going out with friends and family and taking advantage of the pizza offers.

Take a look at our national deep dish pizza deals in Chicago below.

Lou Malnati's, a Chicago institution, serves up a slice of innovation alongside its deep dish tradition. They've debuted a new "Hot Honey Pizza" featuring sausage, pepperoni, giardiniera, and a drizzle of Mike's Hot Honey. But that's not all! "Lou Malnati's is excited to surprise lucky customers with a free small 'Hot Honey' deep dish on carryout or delivery orders," said company spokesperson Emily Michaels. "We're also giving away free pizza for a year – what better way to celebrate National Deep Dish Day?"

Deep dish purists can head to Uno's Pizzeria & Grill, who claim to have "invented deep dish pizza over 75 years ago." They're offering a classic buy-one-get-one deal on pizzas to go, perfect for sharing (or hoarding, we won't judge).

Giordano's adds another layer of celebration to the day. "This National Deep Dish Day coincides with our 50th anniversary," said Giordano's CEO, Yorgo Koutsogiorgas. "To show our appreciation to our customers, we're offering 50% off all dine-in pizzas every Tuesday through May 28th."

Even if you're not in Chicago, you can still savor the deep dish goodness. Tastes of Chicago, a company that ships classic Chicago fare nationwide, is offering a limited-time deal. On Friday only, you can get $15 off select Lou Malnati's pizza packs. Don't miss out on this opportunity to taste the authentic Chicago deep dish!
