Is Oreos Gluten-Free?

Regarding Oreos, a famous sandwich cookie, the ingredients include wheat flour, which is not gluten-free. Although this may be upsetting news for those looking for an alternative, Oreo makes a gluten-free version of its famous product. The parent company, Nabisco, has noticed this opportunity and created gluten-free Oreos.

Some online sources claim that the Oeros double stuf version is gluten-free, but not. Unless the packaging highlights the fact, I assume that it’s not safe to eat if you have celiac disease. It’s also highly recommended to double-check the ingredients for these packaged cookies to ensure they fit your diet requirements.

Are Gluten-Free Oreos Dairy-Free?

All Oreos are dairy-free and do not contain any products from animals. For this reason, this well-known chocolate sandwich cookie can be loved by vegans. This may be surprising to some people, but it’s important to know that Nabisco does have a risk of cross-contamination when producing these products. The creme featured inside this product is made with hydrogenated vegetable oil, high fructose corn syrup, soy, and vanilla.

OREO Gluten-Free Chocolate Sandwich Cookies

Oreo has created a gluten-free chocolate sandwich cookie product that’s delicious. These are made with real cocoa and alternative flour that tastes like the original. There’s also a variety of different gluten-free cookies that Nabisco created, including the Double Stuf version. Remember, the company makes other gluten-containing food products that might introduce cross-contamination.

Where To Buy Gluten-Free Oreos?

Gluten-free Oreos are available at nearly all department and grocery stores. I recommend calling the department store ahead of time to ensure its availability. Some notable locations that sell gluten-free Oreos are Walmart, Target, and Trader Joe’s. For more information, visit the Oreo website or search on Google Maps.
