If you’re a pasta fan, this is the place for you! DeNuccis has already received many positive reviews on Google, so I had to visit this Chicago restaurant.
GoodTimes
If you’re looking for a new place that brews its own beer, then GoodTimes should be on your radar. This restaurant also specializes in pizzas. Located in Lakeview, GoodTimes offers a great atmosphere for you and your friends to enjoy. Another thing that I like about this eatery is its build-your-own tacos.

Many restaurants were introduced into the Chicago scene in July 2023. After visiting several locations, we’ve included a small list of top places to eat. You will surely find something delicious on these menus from standard American cuisine to African. It’s strongly advised to make a reservation to avoid any complications at the restaurant.
Mrs. Kay’s Kitchen
Mrs. Kay’s Kitchen is an African-style restaurant that recently opened in Windy City. Serving Nigerian food, this is an awesome place to take friends and family out for lunch. My favorite thing to eat here is their rice and fish. With a chic interior, the space offers a friendly atmosphere, and you’re likely to see the owner in the restaurant.
The Evie
When visiting Chicago, one top thing to do is walk the Magnificant Mile. The Evie is a new restaurant close to this destination and features a large list of items on its sushi and steak menu. Google reviewers suggested trying their prime rib Benedict and fried chicken with biscuits. I enjoyed eating at The Evie because of its modern wooden interior and delicious appetizers.
Sojourn
Sojourn resides near one of Chicago’s oldest establishments, The Davis Theater. Enjoy red snapper tacos followed by movies at this location. Sojourn is also known for its truffle Mac n cheese, which I thoroughly loved. I highly suggest trying this new restaurant to spend a night in Lincoln Square.
Floreen’s Chicken & Roost
Are you a chicken lover like me? Try Floreen’s Chicken & Roost in the heart of Chicago. This chicken place featured neutral lighting and plenty of greenery and had some of the city’s best wings. They also have vegan options for customers to eat. Some of Floreen’s drink options include iced tea and slushies. Be bold and ask for more sauce because this place has friendly staff!
