Sweet Potato Fries

These baked potato sweet fries are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. You can make them with or without the skins on the potato. This is a great snack to make, and share!

Ingredients
  

  • 4 medium sized sweet potatoes
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Scrub and soak sweet potato fries in cold water for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
  3. Line two baking sheets with aluminum foil. Slide them into the oven so they become hot.
  4. Slice your fries into 1/4-1/2 inch sticks. Put them into a large bowl and toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  5. Put the sweet potatoes onto hot baking sheets and spread into one layer. Do not over crowd them or they will not brown.
  6. Bake fries for 15-25 minutes. Turn once and rotate the sheets for an even bake. Bake until the edges are lightly browned and centers are tender.
  7. Sprinkle fries with salt on top and serve.
