Cobb Salad

Cobb Salad is a hearty and delicious classic American salad created in the 1930s by Bob Cobb, featuring fresh greens, tender chicken, crispy bacon, and creamy avocado topped with a tangy vinaigrette dressing.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 head of Romaine lettuce chopped
  • 2 chicken breasts cooked and diced
  • 4 slices of bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs chopped
  • 1 avocado diced
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the Romaine lettuce, chicken, bacon, hard-boiled eggs, avocado, cherry tomatoes, blue cheese, and red onion.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the fragrant dressing over the salad and toss to combine.
  4. Serve immediately and enjoy!
