Grilled Shrimp Skewers

These skewers feature juicy shrimp marinated in a zesty blend of herbs and spices, grilled to perfection and served with your favorite dipping sauce.

Equipment

  • Wooden skewers soaked in water for 20 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Whisk together your favorite brand's olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl.
  • Add the shrimp to the kitchen bowl and toss to coat with the marinade.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  • Preheat a grill to medium-high heat.
  • Thread the shrimp onto the wooden skewers, leaving a little space between each shrimp.
  • Grill the shrimp skewers for 3 minutes per side or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  • Remove the wooden skewers from the grill and serve hot.
