How To Make The Perfect Burger

Well first let’s talk about your perfect burger patty. The texture of the patty is important. Most meat slicers use round shanks for burgers. For best results, choose a thin, round shank for your burgers, or avoid them altogether for healthier ground beef. Make the perfect burger by eliminating unnecessary fat and oil, and adding vegetables to your burger to give your meat a flavor boost.

Start with a healthy heart burger – the High 5. It’s 5 grams of fat, 20 grams of protein, and 3.5 grams of fiber to support heart health. The High 5 includes beans, brown rice, avocado, greens, and tomatoes for heart-healthy veggies. For a better flavor, add a half cup of mushrooms, sweet potato, or even zucchini! Your burger also needs a good bun.

Bobby Flay’s Best Burger Tips

To make the perfect burger, the meat is going to be your biggest asset. Use the freshest beef and buy the best cuts you can get.

Get Your Meat Fresh

One thing that makes beef taste delicious, is the freshness. Cut the beef right out of the grill to ensure texture. The most tender hamburger meat will be from muscle meat from the front legs of a steer. You can find this at the grocery store on day old bread. You can also get hamburger at the meat counter. In my experience, the beef is already cut in half.

Buy The Right Beef

When you’re buying beef, buy the biggest chuck that you can. The meat at the top of the loin and rib cage will be the most tender, because it’s the thickest part of the cow. It’s the same with a sirloin.

Gordon Ramsay Burger Tips

We caught up with Gordon Ramsay on a red carpet in LA. He told us that his go-to recipe is the World’s Best Burgers, a very simple, versatile dish that can satisfy to any preference. It’s quick, versatile, and easy to put together with our recipes, too.

It’s a great all-in-one dish, easy to share and perfect for a gourmet, effortless dinner party. The ingredients list hits the spot, but you can make changes to suit your taste. Beef – it’s What’s For Dinner gave this a 10 out of 10! This burger is the perfect recipe to keep on hand and keep in the fridge for a healthy, delicious dinner.

Secrets To The Perfect Burger

It’s about the best ingredients you can get your hands on and simple technique. The grill makes all the difference to how juicy the patty is. The patty needs to cook from the inside, so you’ll need to time your grilling to perfection. The outside gets cooked when it hits the grill, so don’t cook the burger past medium.

Also make sure to keep your grill clean. Be sure to wipe the grates with a paper towel after every use, making sure you cook the burgers over direct heat (not over the heat of a burner). We recommend Char-Broil’s Valet™ 25A Grill and Big Green Egg 30 Inch Ceramic Grill or Weber Smokey Joe Triple Cab indoor/outdoor smokers. You’ll need the right kind of patty for a great burger.
