According to Lucy’s website, the brand features a girl living a ‘messy’ life with a burger in hand and a smile. This represents the chaos that proceeds today, but we continue to live on. The 1960s-themed restaurant celebrates the liberation of women. The idea first started with a food truck in 2013; later, the official Lucy’s food truck was created. In 2017, the owners finally opened up a location in Humboldt Park. Soon, in 2020, Damian and Jessica opened up their uptown location.
