Lucy’s Review in Uptown Chicago

Lucy's restaurant review in Uptown Chicago banner featuring the interior

Lucy’s is more than just a restaurant; it’s an experience! A family-owned establishment that has gained a reputation for serving high-quality, locally sourced food in a fun and cheerful ambiance. Their Spicy Fried Chicken is a must-try dish that is made using Amish-raised chicken, ensuring every bite is delicious and healthy.

The interiors of the restaurant are a visual treat, decorated with captivating pin-up girl art that adds to the fun atmosphere. The air is filled with classic rock music that sets the perfect mood for a laid-back dining experience with your loved ones. Damian and Jessica Warzecha, the owners of Lucy’s, have created an inclusive environment where everyone feels at home. From the moment you enter, you’ll be greeted with a warm smile and exceptional service that will make you want to come back again and again.

Lucy’s Uptown

According to Lucy’s website, the brand features a girl living a ‘messy’ life with a burger in hand and a smile. This represents the chaos that proceeds today, but we continue to live on. The 1960s-themed restaurant celebrates the liberation of women. The idea first started with a food truck in 2013; later, the official Lucy’s food truck was created. In 2017, the owners finally opened up a location in Humboldt Park. Soon, in 2020, Damian and Jessica opened up their uptown location.

Lucy’s Chicago Menu

Lucy’s restaurant is famous for its classic fried chicken sandwich but also offers other options, including Bacon Jam Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich and Buffalo Blue Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich. They also offer Fried Pickles, House Salad, and Mac and cheese. For dessert, enjoy Milkshakes, Soft Serve Ice Cream, and Vintage Bottled Soda.
