Ingredients
  

  • 5 lbs. Halal beef tenderloin
  • tsp Kosher salt
  • tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter softened
  • 3 tsp garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp rosemary minced
  • 4 fresh thyme springs

Method
 

Night Before Cooking
  1. Season your beef tenderloin with salt and pepper the night before cooking.
Day of Cooking
  1. Remove the tenderloin from the refrigerator and let it rest for 2 hours.
  2. Preheat oven to 425 degrees °F.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet on medium-high. Sear the tenderloins for 4 minutes each side. Or until crust starts to turn golden brown.
  4. Softened butter, garlic, herbs, and Dijon mustard in a small mixing bowl and mix.
  5. Rub the beef tenderloin with the mixture and place in the oven. Roast beef tenderloin for 25 minutes.
  6. Remove beef tenderloin from oven and place it on a wooden cutting board. Let tenderloin rest for 16 minutes before slicing.
