- 1 lb ground chuck beef
- 1 tsp Kosher salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 4 burger buns
- 4 chedder cheese sliced
- 1 tomato sliced
- ½ lettuce
- ½ red onion sliced
- ½ cup dill pickles sliced
- 1 tbsp butter
Slice all ingredients for the burger toppings
Preheat grill to medium heat. Spread butter on bun and toast with a skillet or grill.
Divide beef into equal portions after forming the patties. Create 1" thick patties, season with salt and pepper.
Grill burger patties while covered for 5 minutes. Flip side and cover for another 3 minutes.
Open grill and add cheese slices, cover and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Assemble toppings and serve.
